ESATInformer
Email Analysis and
Message retrieval tool
ESATInformer designed for XWall virtually
eliminates the "false positive" problem. Daily
reports are sent to the email system administrator and all
selected users. These reports summarize the spam problem
and list each users blocked messages. Using these reports,
users can request delivery of any false positives. The request
is handled automatically with a summary report sent to the
email administrator. With the "false positive"
problem out of the way, the XWall spam filters can be tightened
to all but completely eliminate spam.

ESATONLINE
The ESATOnline site offers reports for XWall up to version
3.37. The current version is not supported at this time.
ESATInformer is providing most of the information the online
version offers and we feel it's a duplication. The Online
version is written in a different language so it's a lot
of work keeping it up.
The Email & Spam Analysis
Tool is online based. If you have statistical
data generated by Xwall 3.36 or higher Requirements:In
order to use E.S.A.T Online you need Xwall stats version

Xwall for a free 30 trail. The statistical data needed
is created by Xwall. The following steps will produce the
files needed by E.S.A.T

and check the first box. "Write statistics file".
If you do SMTPblocking you should also check the second
box.E.S.A.T online is not processing SMTP and Virus stats

files. The files can be identified by the letters SR ->

Analysis by Days: ESAT can produce quick to read
graphics showing the total emails per day and the ratio
of Spam. Did you know that almost all email received on
the weekends is Spam?

Analysis by hour: ESAT can display
the hourly email volume. Unlike other email analysis tools
ESAT will show you the ratio of good email verses Spam
Analysis by user: ESAT shows how many
messages each users got for the paired selected. The red
portion shows the Spam the Green portion shows he clean
email.

Spam Type Analysis: This analysis shows
you how Xwall identified the Spam. A lot of Spam gets caught
in more than one filter. It shows which filters did find
the Spam and which one removed the Spam message.

High bandwidth: ESAT identifies high
bandwidth users or departments. This graph also reveals
that a lot of contacts misspelled the top users name.. A
simple mail routing flag in Xwall will make sure the users
gets the mail even if his contacts misspell his name occasionally.
Would you known about that without ESAT?
